Let's get some updates put up, shall we?

I've got a bunch of stuff to share, ceramics, prints, a few photos, hopefully I can make the updates a little more regular.

So I got some brush pens the other day, I just doodled with them a little bit, but I discovered I really have no idea how to use them. So, in order to practice and get my hands to listen to what I tell them, I'm requesting ideas from you all. If you have a scene that you just haven't had time to draw or make, if you want a photo that you want remade, you have a story you want illustrated, talk to me. I don't promise profundity or even good art, but I need motivation and material ^_^

In other news, I'm writing a web gallery in php - its a slightly larger project than I initially thought. Progress so far: I've got image uploads and categorization working. Now I need to get it displaying consistently, editing capability and password protection.

Anyhoo - I'm home for the summer and have a new toy to play with - an Intuos3 graphics tablet! YAY!

My plans include getting sunburned, watching beans grow and making a hammock.

So, I've been keeping a sketchbook lately. It's wierd--the more I draw, the more I feel like drawing. I'm even using it as a distraction from my Art History paper.

Ache oF the HearT was born late last night after returning from the dress rehearsal of 'Return to Forbidden Planet' It kind of sums up my feelings of the past few weeks brought on by the slew of aching people in my LJ circle of friends.
